One issue that I see frequently is a 49.0665 SERVICE ERROR message on the HP LaserJet 9050n. It’s always the same cause (printing a multipage document) that the printer is unable to handle so it crashes due to Insufficient Memory. Since it happens frequently and with the same bunch of executives (never the staff to assistant) at the company, I can fix the issue fast and prevent it in most cases.
49.0665 SERVICE ERROR
If there is a 49.0665 SERVICE ERROR message on the printer, see which incident caused the issue and work to fix it following the included guide.
BLANK LCD PANEL
If the HP LaserJet 9050n printer does not turn on, there are six things to check but more than likely, it will be one of two things: The Formatter or the Power Supply Unit.
DAMAGED DOCUMENTS
When you see crumples and wrinkles when printing, do a supply status report to see if the fuser capacity level is under ten percent (10%) as often this will be the case but there are times when the printer will keep too warm due to the airflow and overheat the fuser parts causing it to shed and peel. Once this happens, it can cause frequent paper jams which could lead to a damaged motor and with the price to replace and or maintain.
