One printer that I do not like to see brought in for repairs is the Xerox Phaser 3250. When the Xerox Phaser 3250 is brought in, it is usually for one or a combination of the following.
* Two-Sided/Duplex Printing
* Misfeeds
* Paper Jams
* Smudges
Two-Sided/Duplex Printing
To save on paper, most printers support duplex (two-sided) printing. If it does not, you can actually use the manual feed to do it on your own but be warned that sending back a print job through your printer can cause the ink to lift off the paper if it is not cured properly and attached to your rollers which will print ono future print jobs. To enable or disable, make sure the correct drivers are installed and navigate to the Devices and Printers section in the Control Panel.
Misfeeds
What you may believe to be a paper jam issue may actually be a misfeed issue where the printer grabs multiple sheets of paper or pulls it in at an angle as it was not lying properly.
Paper Jams
The paper jam is one of the most annoying issues on the Xerox Phaser 3250. You will pull the entire unit apart to seek out a piece of paper lying somewhere that it should not be only to find out that the unit is jamming due to the tray and have to use the manual feed.
Smudges
As you may have already guessed, smudges are caused by the ink in the cartridges. Often enough, replacing the current cartridge with a new one will fix the issue as long as ink did not transfer to any rollers such as those in the fuser unit.
