What are your options for charging your iPad while camping? Your options will vary depending on how well prepared you are for your camping trip.
Power Bank
One item that should be on your list and at the very top is a Power Bank. They are portable so you can move around instead of leaving your iPad in one place (such as a vehicle) where it could end up being out of eyesight thus increasing the chance for it to get stolen.
Lighting Cable
Have at least two lighting cables on hand for your camping trip. They say “there’s safety in numbers” and by having extra cables, you help yourself out when a cable gets damaged, goes missing, or if you need to charge a second device such as your iPhone.
Kitchen Timer
If your iPad or electronic device is in use or is on while charging, do you know that it will charge a bit slower? I find that shutting down the iPad will give it a faster charge. Since you will not easily see the battery percentage on the iPad and overcharge a full battery, have a kitchen timer on hand to set to alert you to unplug or watch the percentage remaining on the Power Bank if you know how much percent charge goes to top it up.
