The first time that I installed Windows 11 on a laptop for work, I received the TPM has malfunctioned message and that prevented me from utilizing Microsoft Office 2019 perfectly. I was attempting to join the laptop with Windows 11 to the domain from home utilizing VPN over a Wi-Fi connection. The first half was successful but since the system had to restart, I lost the VPN connection so important resources needed were inaccessible after the restart and this corrupted the OS and in turn, my network account. It was great that this happened as in my attempt to fix it, gave me the necessary skills to fix it on Windows 10 as well for other coworkers.
Correcting the Issue
I utilized the steps to recreate a network profile and then setup Outlook normally. Once I saw the account was not logged in as temporary, I migrated their files and continued with the tips on importing Outlook email signatures to complete the support request. Once a month has passed, the user can delete the old profile to obtain more storage space on their drive.
